The summer Sales Intern will work closely with our Sales Team to support Headgum’s advertising marketplace, Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the podcast advertising ecosystem, and how brands and podcasters work together.

Rate: $16/hr 3 days a week

Job requirements

Scope of work may include:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of our podcast hosting environments and advertising marketplace, Gumball, by scheduling and monitoring ad campaigns.

  • Delivering ad creative to hosts & working with Account Managers to confirm it’s up to standards

  • Overseeing the collection of ads and evaluating quality and timely delivery

  • Maintaining tracking documents for the Account Managers

  • Implementing tracking links and working with partner sites to monitor progress

  • Creating and completing reports for clients and sales team


  • Must reside in the Los Angeles or New York area for the duration of the internship

  • Applicants should be passionate about podcasting and interested in pursuing work in business, advertising, and sales.

  • Obsessive attention to detail

  • Extensive proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs, and Google Slides/Keynote.

  • Basic proficiency in audio editing software is a plus
