Headgum is searching for a Marketing Intern. Reporting into the Director of Marketing, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the promotion of the Headgum brand and its podcasts through social media and campaign documentation.

You’re a person with a passion for creating compelling audio/visual content and a hard-working podcast enthusiast seeking to help connect artists with a loyal and growing audience. You’re an independent contributor looking to join a small, but mighty cross-functional team.

This position is based in Los Angeles or New York City. Open to remote work.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Marketing teams by creating promotional content including video and image assets. You will have the opportunity to pitch creative concepts and execute them.

  • Maintaining posting schedule for Headgum social accounts

  • Copywriting for social media, newsletters, podcast ads and pitch decks.

  • Managing and maintaining data tracking documents and helping to evaluate the success of Headgum’s marketing campaigns

  • Community engagement for various Headgum social channels

  • Assisting with research on the latest emerging trends & platforms

Job requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Applicants should be passionate about podcasting and comedy and interested in pursuing work in marketing & social media.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Premiere are a plus

  • Active user of platforms like Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Discord and YouTube

  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills with an obsessive attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Sheets/Excel, Google Docs, and Google Slides/Keynote

  • A motivated self starter who takes initiative on new ideas

  • Passionate about podcasting, startups, & technology
